I began my career as an apprentice plumber, quickly realising that hard work and saving alone wouldn’t secure the prosperous future I envisioned. Inflation and economic instability made traditional savings strategies unreliable. Determined to find a better way to build, protect, and grow wealth, I pivoted to an incentives-driven career in technology sales and real estate investing, ultimately building a portfolio of 15 properties over 17 years.

Despite my successes, I still felt limited by conventional investments. Discovering Bitcoin marked a turning point, reshaping my approach to wealth. While real estate taught me the value of long-term investments, Bitcoin redefined wealth preservation through its truly unique scarcity, decentralised nature, divisibility, and sovereign qualities.

Discovering and understanding Bitcoin marked a turning point that fundamentally changed my understanding of wealth and financial resilience.

Today, I work on advancing Bitcoin in Australia through facilitating local meetups, and through my work as the CEO of the Australian Bitcoin Industry Body.
